Worth the trial credits.

I was looking for something to help with autonomous system simulation and found their developer trial. The free API credits were a good way to test it out without a big commitment. The physical simulation models performed well for what I needed, a decent value for the initial investment of time. Felt like a smart move to try it before buying.

Good beta access.

Got into the developer trial. The spatial perception APIs worked fine. Documentation was clear. Quick setup.

Amazing 3D generation!

Oh my goodness, the Marble creative tool is absolutely fantastic! I generated some 3D environments, and they look incredibly realistic. The quality is just mind-blowing. I will definitely be using this again for future projects and telling all my friends who do creative work about it. What a product!

Promising tech, some quirks.

I signed up for the early access waitlist and eventually got in for the generative 3D assets. The potential of the Large World Models is definitely there, it's impressive what it can do. My main feedback would be that the interface for the developer SDK felt a little clunky at times, not always intuitive for a first-time user, though the performance itself was solid. Overall, a very positive experience, just a few small things that could be smoothed out for an even better workflow.

Any discount codes or promo codes floating around for World Labs? Looking to get a deal if possible.

J Julia J. 3 weeks ago
Honestly, direct promo codes aren't really their thing. It's more about getting into their beta or developer programs to get free credits.

Yeah, don't expect a typical coupon. Your best bet is signing up for the waitlist and getting in on an early access deal or academic grant. They don't do public sales really.

Hey guys, thinking of signing up for World Labs. How do you actually get access to their stuff? Is it just like, sign up and go?

N Noor H. 3 weeks ago
Nah, it's not that simple. Pretty sure you gotta join a waitlist first for most of their frontier models. They're still kinda invite-only for the really good stuff.

Yeah, what they said. I signed up for the newsletter and got on the early access list that way. Took a bit but I eventually got in for the dev trial.

How does World Labs compare to something like Luma AI? I'm trying to decide between them for 3D scene reconstruction and creative tools.

J Josh Carter 1 month ago
World Labs is way more focused on the 'large world model' stuff, so it's probably better for generating huge, interactive 3D environments. Luma is good but maybe not as deep for full-on world building.

From what I've seen, World Labs seems to be pushing more into actual robotics training environments and really complex spatial reasoning, which might be overkill if you're just doing creative scenes. Depends what you need.

Is World Labs Marble available to everyone? Or is that also like, a special access thing?

D David 1 week ago
I think Marble is part of their broader suite of tools, so if you get access to World Labs generally, you'd likely get access to Marble too. It's not a separate sign-up like that.

C Cody 1 week ago
Yeah, it's basically their creative frontend for the spatial intelligence. So it's not like a separate product you buy; it's part of the whole ecosystem once you're in.

Anyone know if World Labs gives out free API credits for developers? Trying to mess around with their spatial perception but don't wanna commit money right away.

W Wendy Q. 1 month ago
They do sometimes! I got some free credits when I signed up for their beta program. Keep an eye out for those opportunities.

i think it's more common to get credits if you're in an academic program or part of their early access stuff, rather than just a general freebie.
